Don't update to 9.0. Updates provide no value. We have to change all our images, colors, etc. to have the site function similarly with little to no value.
I'm a novice with Shopify stores and Themes. When I came across what I thought was a flaw in the Impulse 9.0.0 theme, I reached out to Archetype Themes Support. They promptly worked with me to understand the issue. After analysis, it was quickly determined that I wasn’t configuring certain things correctly. Archetype Themes Support is outstanding. I would strongly recommend Archetype Themes.

After an update, my site broke . colors ,fonts and; layout. Support applied a partial fix but confirmed issues remain as bugs w/no timeline advised staying on an older version. Months later, newer versions sit behind a paywall. This left me w/unresolved issues and no clear upgrade options. Archetype theme still broke. A premium I had for 3 mos. Should offer better continuity and; support. Useless
Impulse has the right balance of features and ease of use, and is actively under improvement by the developers. The v9 navigation, as one example, is a remarkable improvement, which our site got essentially for free.
I've been using the Impulse theme for several years now on three brand stores, and I've been extremely satisfied with the features and the support. If you're going to pick one theme for a brand that you plan to grow for a long period of time, this is a good investment over the free theme options.
This theme is amazing. We upgraded from a free template and all our issues were resolved. Support is also very helpful and responsive.

not happy with this very expensive but useless, no seo, no support, very bad scrolling on product page
Great theme, many features available for complex stores like ours (furniture & lighting). Frequent theme updates to to keep up with Shopify's non-stop new features! Most importantly, stellar support that always replies within 24 hours whenever questions occur.
